Good friends now are US Ambassador Maxwell H. Gluck, right, and Prime Minister Bandarnaike of Ceylon. Gluck set off a congressional furor when he couldn't pronounce the prime minister's name before departing for Ceylon. But when the two first met, shortly after Gluck's arrival, the American envoy greeted the prime minister by his full name, Solomon West Ridway Diaz Bandarnaike.
