1952 Press Photo Sergeant Frank A. Golemi awarded Silver Star by F. S. Robillard

Sergeant Frank A. Golemi, USMC, 24, son of Mr. and Mrs. Leon Golemi, 2948 Grank Route, St. John, New Orleans, Louisiana, was awarded the Silver Star by Brigadier General F. S. Robillard USMC during recent ceremonies at U.S. Naval Hospital, Oakland, California. Sergeant Golemi, who is convalescing at the Oakland Naval Hospital from gunshot wounds received while serving with the 1st Marine Division on the Korean front, was cited for "conspicuous gallantry and intrepidity in action against the enemy.
