Description
Words of thanks came tumbling from the lips of Osward Gonzales, right, Puerto Rican student at Tulane University, as he met Malcolm Arnoult, freshman who found $500 which Gonzales had lost Friday and turned it in to the university. The money was to put Gonzales through school for the next semester and he had torn his room apart in a frantic search for it. Oswald will get the $600 when Tulane receives word from New York that the check, which he had cashed at Tulane to obtain the money, is identified as his. Arnoult got $24 reward from Gonzales for finding the money.

Photo is dated 1939.
