Chief Executive officer Lt. Paul T. Steele spends some time with his two year old daughter, Katelyn before shipping out. Steel was here in New Orleans along with the crew of NOAA Ship Ferrel. The NOAA Ship Ferrel is one of a fleet of survey and research vessels operated by the National Oceanic and atmospheric Administration, an agency of the Department of Commerce. The ship was here for the last three days, doing some pollution sampling on fish. Steele and his crew was leaving New Orleans heading back to its base in Norfolk, Virginia Steel and his family live in Alaska, Mrs. Diedra Steele and her daughter, Katelyn came to New Orleans to spend time with Paul while he was here.
