1953 Press Photo Louis Harap at the House Un-American Activities Committee

Louis Harap, a New York City "writer" told the House Un-American Activities Committee 6/29 that Jews are treated better in Soviet Russia than any where else in the world. Harap refused to say he is a Communist now or ever has been and charged the Committee was creating anti-Semitic conditions in the U.S.
