George Sisler, baseball's Hall of Fame first baseman, gets the feel of a bat in preparation for the Pittsburgh Pirates return to Forbes Field for opening day, April 16th. Sisler, who underwent an abdominal operation February 16, is back at his office after recuperation in the hospital and at home. He recently was named special field assistant to manager Bobby Bragan of the Pirates after five years as chief scout.
