Members of the International Institute of Ibero-American Literature, wound up their congress at the St. Charles hotel, here today with the announcement of the election of Arture-Torres-Rioseco, professor of Latin-American literature at the University of California at Berkley, to the presidency of the Institute, to serve for the next two years. Torres-Rioseco will remain in office until the fourth international congress of the Institute, which will be held in Havana sometime in 1945. Arturo Torres-Rioseco, professor of Latin-American literature at the University of California at Berkeley (right) was elected president of the International Institute of Ibero-American literature, currently in session here. Congratulating the new new head of the institute is Dr. John Englekirk of Tulane University, out-going president.
