Dedication of the new $2,550,000 Federal Building here was to take place this afternoon with federal, state and city officials participating in the exercises. Walter Myers, fourth assistant postmaster of Washington, D.C., is scheduled to make the principal address. Other speakers will include A. Miles Pratt, President of the Federal Business Association; Commissioner of Finance Jess S. Cave; H. Grady Meador, President of the New Orleans Association of Commerce; Postmaster Joseph J. Ferguson of New Orleans; Paul H. Maloney Congressman for the Second District and J. O. Fernandez, Congressman from the First District.
