Revetments, Levees Seen As Flood Planning Needs -- The immediate task of flood control planners for the lower Mississippi River Valley, as indicated by a three-day inspection trip completed, is twofold, Representative Whittington, of Mississippi, said in New Orleans today. Rep. Whittington is here for annual meeting tomorrow in The Roosevelt of the Mississippi Valley Flood Control Association, of which he is vice president.
