Description
Contessa Entellinas pay tribute to virgin with Mass, "festa" An all-day "festa" was being held today by all the Contessa Entellinas and their families and friends to celebrate the feast day of the Blessed Virgin of Favara, their patron saint, and the 52nd anniversary of the Contessa Entellina Society. Happy days in their native villages nestling in the mountains on the island of Sicily were recalled during the celebration by the more than 2000 residents who migrated here. They recalled their fertile farms and herds of cattle in the land that was their home and the home of their descendants.
