1940 Press Photo Pigeons being released at the Poultry Show in New Orleans

Pictures at auditorium when 1,000 pigeons were released as part of the poultry show. The pigeons belong to members of the New Orleans Racing pigeon club and the Crescent City Racing Pigeon club. They circled the auditorium and then flew back to their lofts, scattered over the city.
