Description
All calls are relayed from the Charity Hospital switchboard to the ambulance house, where a complete file card is made out on each trip. Driver Eddie Guidroz, above, is busiest from 4 to 11 pm on weekdays and all night long on Saturday when people's tempers are touchier, more folks are out joy riding, and accidents more frequent.

Photo is dated 1948.

Photo measures 8 x 10.25 inches.
