Government - California's Governor Edmund "Pat" Brown," a Democrat, relaxes in his hotel room after arriving in Cleveland for the 56th annual Governors Conference as he announced Pierre Salinger had been invited to the conference and probably would come here Monday. Brown said differences between him and Salinger, former press secretary to the late President John F. Kennedy, and newly nominated Democratic candidate for the United State Senate had been patched and that Salinger would get solid party backing in November.
