Description
Bunker Hill Monument, seen through the lacy twigs of a winter bare tree, marks Breed's Hill in Boston's Charlestown section where Colonials and British fought the first pitched battle the American Revolution on June 17, 1775. The battle is re-created continuously at the nearby Raytheon Bunker Hill Pavilion with its multimedia presentation "Whites of Their Eyes".
