1972 Press Photo Horse and Buggy Parade down the middle of Breaux Bridge

Horse & Buggy Parade - The small Southwest Louisiana town of Breaux Bridge plans to welcome a multitude of visiting families next Saturday and Sunday, April 29 and 30, and invite them to "Pass a good time" in "La Capitale Mondiale des Ecrevisses" as participants of its biennial Crawfish Festival. Robert L. Domingues, festival president, announced the celebration will be centered at a 60-acre area between Interstate 10 and the center of Breaux Bridge, with camping facilities being provided in the portion that borders Bayou Teche.
