The Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church, famed landmark of West Berlin, will be restored in 1959. The chapels and other parts of the church, demolished in World War II, will be rebuilt along modern lines, reports Pan American World Airways. The topless tower of the church will remain in ruins -- a monument to the futility of war.
