Stove Room - Berlin: Seated comfortably in the "Stove Room" of his two-room Berlin Apartment, Hans Schallwitz reads the evening paper as his wife knits and his mother pets the family cat. Finding it impossible to heat his apartment with the small allotment of coal allowed Berliners, ingenious Schallwitz built the tiny 8'x6'x7' room about his stove so that the family might spend evenings at home in comfort.
