1965 Press Photo Audubon Place masonry structures unchanged over 70 years

These two photographs of Audubon Place at the point where it meets St. Charles Avenue, are mute testimony to what Father Time, Mother Earth and community development can bring about. The upper photo, found deep in the New Orleans Public Library's files, bears an 1895 date. The other picture was made recently by a DIXIE Roto staff photographer.

Photo is dated 1965.
