Graduation Day...comes for Robert Reed, Darren McGavin, Allan Arbus and James Olson, left to right, as they leave their academy and begin careers with the New York Police Force in "Law and Order," three-hour World Premiere Movie on NBC-TV Thursday (May 6) at 8 p.m. (PDT). the dramatic story, based on Dorothy's Uhnak's best-selling novel, follows the four friends as they rise through the years to high police positions and find their early lofty ideals challenged by a corrupt world soon surrounding them. McGavin stars with Suzanne Pleshette, Will Geer and Robert Reed also heading the all-star cast.
