While his parents are in Moscow, Vladimir Ashkenazy Jr., 18 months old, plays at his father's piano in Hendon, England. His father, Vladimir Sr., a Russian pianist, has been given permission to live in England with his Icelandic wife, Thorunn. The Ashkenazys were invited to Moscow in mid-May for a short visit, and then agreed to stay for a series of concerts in June.
