Damage to the Algiers landing at the Algiers-Chalmette ferry crossing could reach $100,000, Frank A. Armiger, director of the Mississippi River Bridge Authority, said Saturday a vehicle ramp, twisted and broken where it was struck by a ship and a tugboat last Sunday and Thursday, respectively.
