Increasing refinery capacity by 50 percent is being accomplished by Alabama Refining Co. at Mobile with the installation of the tube heater pictured here being erected at the company's plant. This will up the capacity from 10,000 barrels a day to 15,000 barrels. Marion Crop., the refinery's owners, said additional improvements to bring the capacity to 20,000 barrels a day are in the planning stage and will be announced soon. Main products made now are jet aircraft and distillate fuels.
