Description
The village of Murgab, in the Pamir Mountains of Tadjikistan, to which goods are brought over the Pamir Road by auto truck. Further east the transport is by camel train through the passes of these lofty mountains that border Afghanistan. It is this route that must be kept open for the flow of supplies from India to Russia.
