1971 Press Photo General Motors Employee Johnny Schick Won't Retire Early

Detroit, October 1 - Will not take "thirty and out" - Johnny Schick, after a lot of soul searching, sleepless nights, decided not to take the early retirement under General Motors' contract with the United Auto Workers. Schick, 58, has worked 37 years for General Motors and plans to work a few more, but "Not until 65."
