1974 Press Photo Attorney General William Saxbe Comments on Hearst Kidnapping

Washington, April 3 - Kidnappers went by the book - Attorney General William Saxbe says in a Washington interview Tuesday that Patricia Hearst's kidnappers followed instructions from a textbook written by some other terrorist organization. Saxbe said the existence of such a manual suggests the involvement of "a world-wide conspiracy" in the rash of kidnappings in the United States and other countries since Miss Hearst was abducted two months ago.
