A U.S. Medic takes cover and calms a wounded GI in Saigon. Taking cover in a paddy field southwest of Saigon, a U.S. medic tries to comfort and calm a wounded GI. Viet Cong troops pinned down American soldiers who had been sweeping the area. During the battle, which lasted two days, the Americans, supported by gunships and artillery, killed 76 of the enemy.
