Mobile, Alabama, March 25 - Spanish Plaza dedicated - The Marquesa Merry del Val, wife of the Spanish ambassador to the United States, carries a replica of the scepter, and Mobile Mayor Arthur Cutlaw a replica of the crown of Queen Isabella. She and the ambassador presented the two to the City of Mobile at the dedication ceremonies of a new $750,000 Spanish Plaza Sunday. They are escorted by Dewey Crowder (left), architect of the plaza.
