Washington, May 6 - Reports cancer disappeared - Senator Richard B. Russell, Democrat-Georgia, sits at his Capitol Hill desk and reports that doctors say his response to cobalt treatment for a lung tumor has been "almost fantastic." He said there is no sign of a tumor on X-rays taken 10 days ago.
