New York, December 5 - Agrees to negotiate - Egypt's Foreign Minister Mahmoud Riad, above, answers question of CBS's "Face the Nation" in New York Sunday. Riad insisted a speech made earlier this fall by Egypt's President Anwar Sadat was not a threat to renew hostilities, and he agreed to resume negotiations with Israel and the United Nations' mediator Gunnar Jarring. "If Israeli Foreign Minister Abba Eban says on Monday that he accepts Dr. Jarring's proposals, he, Jarring, can start his mission immediately," Riad said.
