Tony Roberts, right, freelance photographer, and Hal Buell, executive photo editor of Associated Press, look over series of pictures by Roberts which won the Pulitzer Prize for spot news photography, Monday in the New York AP offices. Roberts' photos depict death of man holding a woman hostage in Hollywood parking lot. They were distributed worldwide by the Associated Press. A second Pulitzer for feature photography was son by Associated Press staffer Sal Veder for a POW homecoming.

Photo is dated 1974.
