1962 Press Photo George Rupprecht arraigned in Pittsburgh on fraud charge

George S. Rupprecht, 63, of St. Marys, Pennsylvania, is arraigned before a Pittsburgh alderman today on a fraud charge. The former head of four St. Marys finance companies was charged before Alderman Frank Brune in the alleged fraudulent sales of securities worth $59,000. State investigators said the four firms are insolvent by about $3.7 million. Rupprecht was released on $5,000 bond pending grand jury action in Elk County.
