Washington, April 28 - Endorses McGovern - Senator Abraham Ribicoff, Democrat-Connecticut, tells newsmen at the Capitol today he's endorsing Senator George McGovern of South Dakota for the Democratic presidential nomination. Ribicoff said he was abandoning any hope of Senator Edward M. Kennedy being the nominee and called McGovern the candidate of the future.
