1960 Press Photo Alleged Bank Robber Lawrence C. Pope & Composite Drawing

Waco, Texas - November 15 - Fugitive and composite - At left is actual photo of Lawrence C. Pope, charged by the FBI with bank robbery of two Texas banks. On right is a composite of the fugitive, which was drawn by Waco D.P.S. polygraph examiner, Thadd Johnson. The appearance of the composite in area newspapers and on television helped Texas rangers identify Pope.

Photo is dated 1960.
