1970 Press Photo Labor Department Commissioner Briefs Press on Living Costs

Washington, December 24 - Living costs - Joel Popkin, the Labor Department's assistant commissioner on prices and living conditions, briefs newsmen today on November's living costs. He reported they rose three-tenths of 1 percent in November, the second smallest monthly rise in 18 months and only half the amount of October's rise.
