1970 Press Photo Prince Charles sits in gyroplane at Farnborough air show

Prince Charles, heir to the British throne, Tuesday tries a tiny, single-seat gyroplane for size during a visit to an air show at Farnborough, England. The tiny Campbell Cricket was designed for survey work, police spotting or just fun. The company that makes the craft says it has sold 42 for nearly $4,000 apiece.
