Description
James M. Roche, who has been Chairman of the Board of the General Motors Corporation since November 1, 1967, entered the empty General Motors building in Detroit Thursday to pack his mementos. Roche, who joined General Motors in 1927 at the age of 21, will officially retire on December 31. Replacing Roche is Richard C. Gerstenberg who was vice-chairman of the board of directors.
