Massachusetts State Representative Bill Owens tells newsmen today of his meeting with inmates who are holding three hostages at Walpole State Prison. Owens, who was recently elected the state's first black senator, said the prisoners are "willing to die before being dehumanized any further." The Reverend Edmund Rodman, in background, accompanied Owens into the prison.
