Sobbing mourners rush to touch the coffin bearing the body of United Arab Republic President Gamal Abdel Nasser as it is placed on a caisson during the funeral procession for the late president Thursday. Later masses of screaming mourners surged through barriers and cordons of troops as the body was being laid to rest in the garden of a recently completed mosque.
