1970 Press Photo Consumer Backer Ralph Nader Bashes Bankers at Investor Meeting

New York, February 5 - Nader assails bankers - Noted auto critic and consumer advocate Ralph Nader charged Thursday that major banks abet "white collar crime" by using secret Swiss bank accounts to evade U.S. income taxes. He made his charge during a speech before a conference of institutional investors at New York's Hilton Hotel. Nader said his charges stemmed from information given him by government officials who he did not name.
