Russia's fourth cosmonaut, Lt. Colonel Pavel Popovich, traded smiles with his daughter Natasha, 6, in this family picture supplied by Soviet picture agency Novosti. Popovich, launched today in spaceship Vostok IV, joined fellow cosmonaut Major Andrian Nikolayev in orbit around earth.
