1960 Press Photo Admiral Hyman Rickover presents Willkie Award by Philip Willkie

Vice Admiral Hyman G. Rickover, (right), leader in the development of atomic submarines, today received the first Wendell L. Willkie Award for leadership on public issues. The award was presented by the late Mr. Willkie's son, Philip H. Willkie, president of the Willkie Foundation today at an Indiana University convocation in the auditorium.
