Cape Canaveral, Florida, March 23 - Satellite attempt fails - This Juno II rocket blazes away from its launch pad today, but failed in its effort to put a 35.3-pound satellite into an egg-shaped orbit to radio back extensive information about the Van Allen radiation belts, when one of the upper stages failed to ignite.
