Description
A delegation of Louisiana lawyers, including Robert Pugh, fourth from right, president-elect of the state bar association, is shown Monday at the University of Paris II. The box the lawyers hold contains Louisiana civil law books which were presented to the president of the Paris university as part of a weeklong celebration of the 150th anniversary of Louisiana's civil code, a legal system based primarily on the Napoleonic Code.
