1972 Press Photo Representative William Moorhead hold White House secret study

Representative William S. Moorhead, D-PA, holds a copy of what he calls a secret White House study to wire every American home, car and boat into a central communications system under government control. The study, said to have been prepared for President Nixon's Domestic Council, envisions a "wired nation" that would provide the government with a disaster warning system and a means of dispensing a wide variety of services and information as well as a propaganda and spy system.
