Mrs. Edmund S. Muskie, wife of the Democratic vice presidential candidate asked to be excused for a few minutes while attending a Democratic rally in Denver. Mrs. Muskie greeted all the 150 ladies present and then went outside for some fresh air. Mrs. Muskie said she felt "queasy" and recalled that she had felt the same way on a trip to Mexico City.
