Len Murray, third from left, general secretary of the Trades Union Congress talks to reporters outside No. 10 Downing Street, Monday night after a meeting with the British Cabinet. Murray reported that Prime Minister Edward Heath had rejected their proposals for a settlement of the British mining crisis. Heath's own cabinet is reported split over his refusal to give in to the miner's demands.
