1965 Press Photo American made Patton tank captured from Pakistani army

This is an American-made Patton tank, which, according to the Indian government, was captured from the Pakistani army in fighting on the western front in the Lahore sector. India declared today it had won its military objectives in two sectors of West Pakistan while authoritative sources said Prime Minister Shastri was seriously considering a cessation of hostilities.
