Theatergoers begin to gather outside the Moscow Drama and Comedy Theater on Taganka Square for the opening of a new show: "Under the Skin of the Statue of Liberty." Although the Soviet capital offers on any given night a huge selection of plays, musical comedies, operas, ballets and concerts, seats seem to be always filled with enthusiastic attenders. Perhaps that's because top admission is about $1.25, the rest of the operating cost subsidized by union and city governments.
