1962 Press Photo Representative William Natcher, D-KY, never missed a vote

Representative William H. Natcher, D-KY, above, has had some close calls--but he has never missed any of the 967 roll calls on legislation that have occurred in the House since he was sworn in on January 6, 1954. Natcher, 55, from Bowling Green, also claims that he has missed only two of an estimated 3,000 quorum calls in 10 years. How did he vote? Almost straight down the middle, says Representative Natcher.
