1970 Press Photo Sweden's premier Olof Palme casts his ballot in Stockholm

Sweden's Premier Olof Palme casts his ballot Sunday in Stockholm. With more than 2,727 of 6,451 voting districts reporting in on Sunday it seemed hat a heavy swing to the left was underway. This would enable Palme, a Social Democrat, to form a minority government which would rule with the aide of Sweden's Small Communist party.
